Director J.J. Abrams accomplished two things on Thursday. The STAR WARS VII helmer gave us a first look at the rusty bucket that is the Millennium Falcon, and he delivered a win in the latest Batman v. Superman / Star Wars mashup with Zack Synder.
In a video released by J.J. Abrams Bad Robot, the aging Millennium Falcon is back for hopefully more space adventures but it’s looking in need of a new paint job. As the familiar Star Wars theme plays out, we pan across Han Solo’s spacecraft, but then the Batman theme kicks in as we see there is a stowaway in camouflage - the Batmobile.
The new video was in response to Zack Snyder’s latest entry in the Batman v. Superman / Star Wars mashup photos in which a stormtrooper is being taken into police custody for probably stealing the Bat-mobile.
Zack Synder must now ante up the battle with a video response since it’s been taken to the next level.
