Based on the PLAYSTATION STUDIOS video game, GRAN TURISMO tells the true story of teenage Gran Turismo player Jann Mardenborough who went on to become an actual professional racecar driver. GRAN TURISMO stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Djimon Hounsou, and Archie Madekwe as Jann.
Directed by Neill Blomkamp (DISTRICT 9, ELYSIUM), Jann's gaming skills won a series of Nissan racing competitions. Bloom plays Danny Moore, the man with the idea to turn players into racecar drivers, and Harbour is Jack Salter who trains the Gran Turismo video gamers.
GRAN TURISMO opens in movie theaters on August 11.
